Penthouse on Lake Wörthersee, Austria
A project with a unique location, hidden on the top floor of the building, with a view overlooking Lake Wörthersee in southern Austria. Formerly the spa area of a luxury hotel, this space has now been transformed into a spacious 260 m2 penthouse by the skilled hand of an architect. Light and shadow, materials and colors, as well as art and form, play a superb role in this high-class penthouse.
Right at the entrance of the apartment, one is immediately struck by the distinctive Patagonia stone wall, appearing as a welcoming invitation and an unmistakable statement about the home's privileged location.
Following that, you will pass through a gallery hallway displaying black and white photographic works arranged in a museum-like manner, leading to a spacious, open-plan living room.
Glimpsing through the bookshelf is a view that suddenly reminds you that you are at Lake Wörthersee. You might imagine yourself to be somewhere else, because the interior design and decor of the apartment are truly international, making everyone feel at home, no matter where you come from. Urban elements, works of art, sculpture and painting, classic furniture such as Artifort chairs and Minotti sofas, along with the skillful combination of materials such as fabric, leather, natural stone, wood and glass create this impression.
